The Stelvio Pass Road
The legendary Stelvio Road leads from Prato allo Stelvio in the Vinschgau Valley to the second highest drivable Alpine pass, the Stelvio Pass, at 2,757 meters, and down to Bormio in Lombardy. Those embarking on a motorcycle tour here can expect 1,900 meters of elevation, 48 hairpin bends, and unparalleled views. Depending on snow conditions, the pass is open during the summer months, from late May to early November.
